FerRobotics Complaint Robot Technology GmbH
FerRobotics Intelligent Compliant Robots produces fully compliant robots and robotic components for manufactoring and medical engineering. The robots are based on a unique combination of light, but robust materials and a compliant structure given by its state-of-the-art air muscles. Its robust and shock proof structure enables the robot to lift, move, transport or carry weight up to 5 kg based on a working range of 2m while even sustains a huge hammer blow. A 50 kg robot is planned. Robots of such compliant but robust structure are unique and define a completely new state-of-the-art.
Convergent-IT
CIT is a start-up SW company, the first Spin-off of the Technology Platform MANUFUTURE.at. Based on the results of the EU Cognitive-Vision Project “ActiPret” (2001-2004), CIT develops the SW tools APP (Automated Planning and Programming of Robots) and OLR (3D Object Localisation and Recognition). CIT tools make robots adaptive by accelerating (automated or interactively) programming by a factor of 100 and more robust, reducing constraints on parts and scenes compared to traditional technologies. CIT tools are used by its customers – international active specialised system integrators – to program robotic cells for manufacturing industry.
